Registration

Register for a course: We advise registering as early as possible to avoid filled classes.

You may register one of three ways:

a) Online (click on the links below to begin the online registration process)

Animal Cell Culture Methods and Scale-up Strategies
  Fermentation Methods and Scale-up Strategies
Separation and Purification Strategies for Biotechnology Products

b) Phone 800-PSU-TODAY (or 814-778-8632)

c) Mail the registration form

The registration form must be accompanied by full payment of published fees. Participants will receive a written confirmation, which is required for participation. Please ensure that a confirmation of registration has been received from Penn State before making travel arrangements. Registration and attendance in class will not be permitted prior to receipt of full payment. Seats in workshops are assigned in the order full payment is received.

The registration fee for each course covers instruction, a bound volume of course notes, refreshment breaks, a reception, a lunch, and a dinner. Registrants are responsible for housing and all other meals. The fee may be paid by check, or credit card.

To register, complete the registration form and return with fee to Penn State. Mailed and online registrations must be accompanied by credit card payment information. You may also register with your credit card by calling 800-778-8632 (800-PSU-TODAY) or (814) 863-5162.

You will be notified promptly of any cancellations and schedule or program changes. A confirmation of enrollment in the program, as well as information on travel, accommodations, final registration on the first day of class and parking, will be sent to you electronically after payment has been received. If you have any questions regarding the confirmation packet, please call (814) 863-5487 or send e-mail to amd9@psu.edu.

If you require a receipt of your payment, please make this request at the time of registration. Final Registration is held in the lobby of Forest Resources Laboratory from 8-8:30 a.m. on the first day of the program.

Refund Policy

For cancellations received more than four weeks prior to the start date of each course, a full refund of registration fees can be made. Cancellations made four weeks or less of the course start date will result in forfeiture of registration fees or, with program approval, the participant can elect to register for another Biotechnology Training Program of equal or lesser value within one year of cancellation.
